American Leather Holdings, the parent company for American Leather, Lee Industries, Brookline Furniture and Bench Made Modern, has named Stefanie Lucas as chief revenue officer.
An industry veteran with more than 20 years in the home furnishings space, Lucas has held various leadership positions with furniture manufacturers and retailers as well as international consumer brands.
In this role, Lucas is responsible for overseeing all revenue plus marketing and merchandising for the company brands. She reports to American Leather Holdings CEO Bruce Birnbach.
“American Leather is recognized in the industry for its innovations in design and outstanding manufacturing,” Lucas said. “It’s a company I have followed and admired during my career in home furnishings, and I look forward to being a part of this outstanding team.”
Lucas joins American Leather from Bassett Furniture Industries, where she was the chief merchandising officer. She has also served as the CEO at retailer Boston Interiors, was president of HTL International, N. America and served as president/CEO of Rowe Furniture during her nine-year tenure there. Her consumer brands experience, prior to furniture, includes global marketing roles within Reebok Int’l/Rockport and also at Chico’s, a women’s apparel retailer.
“I have known Stefanie since her time with Rowe Furniture, and know her to be a proven leader in our industry and with international brands,” Birnbach said. “Her wealth of experience will be instrumental in helping our companies realize their revenue goals, while bringing new ideas and energy across all American Leather Holdings brands.”
