Home Furnishings Business Reveals the Forty Under 40 Class of 2020

Leading industry trade magazine Home Furnishings Business (HFB) is pleased to announce the honorees of its Forty Under 40 Class of 2020, which recognizes young leaders in the home furnishings industry. Now in its seventh year the Forty Under 40, sponsored by Storis, includes stellar individuals whose actions and leadership are driving the industry forward through their commitment to their core values, professional excellence, business growth, and the communities in which they serve. In honor of the inductees, a slideshow is now available at http://hfbusiness.com/FortyUnder40/FortyUnder402020

Each year, an outstanding group of under 40s are nominated by their peers to be selected as honorees for the Forty Under 40. The purpose is to call attention to the best and brightest up and comers in the industry. The mission is to recognize and celebrate the spirit inherent in these young movers and shakers as they help position themselves and their companies for a successful future.

“At HFB we have always believed in the strength of young professionals,” said Bob George, publisher and editor in chief of HFB. "As we continue to navigate through these trying times, it’s important to take a moment to recognize these individuals and the work they produce. The Class of 2020 is an outstanding group who have significantly championed the mission of the Forty Under 40. The program continues to be a way to support, celebrate, and connect our community in a meaningful way, and we are thrilled to spotlight these individuals from all corners of the industry."

In addition to the slideshow, the July/August issue of the magazine is dedicated to the Class of 2020 and their achievements. All of the honorees bring something new and exciting to the table, but each shares the same key characteristics of smarts and exuberance. The prestigious honor has a strong impact on the honorees—boosting morale, accelerating career growth, expanding professional networks, and increasing company loyalty.

“Shining a light on the rising talent in our industry is more pertinent than ever, especially as the vision for 2020 has shifted its course,” said Doug Culmone, Storis president and COO. "As digital and tech-center initiatives rise in importance, the future leaders in our industry will be paving the path for the industry’s future as a whole. We are proud to continue to support HFB’s 40 Under 40 program. The talented individuals it has showcased over the years is always impressive.”
