Amini’s Unveils New MicroD Website

MicroD, a leading web technology provider for the home furnishings industry, has announced the launch of Amini’s new, fully responsive ecommerce-enabled website with custom product configuration on home entertainment goods and home furnishings.

Amini’s, a family-owned casual retailer and Furniture First member, new website features a dynamic ecommerce platform complete with MicroD’s ePreVue CPQ module to allow consumers a custom shopping experience for the dealer’s home entertainment goods and other home furnishings.

The use of the ePreVue CPQ software, typically developed at MicroD to configure, price, and quote home furnishings items like dining sets and upholstery goods, is unique within the industry due to its capabilities to configure and price dynamic items like pool tables with configurations available on size, finish, felt color, conversion options for ping pong and other customizable features.

In addition to their investment in digital commerce, Amini’s partnered with MicroD to have its high-performing website supported by a digital marketing team to power its SEO and local digital market strategy.

“We highly recommend MicroD,” said Arash Amini, CEO. “Their experience, professionalism and overall willingness to do what it takes to get things done is unprecedented. We have spent 4 years and countless dollars with several other companies. We look forward to many successful years and a fruitful partnership with MicroD. This is just the beginning.”

“MicroD's passion is driving customer success with our high-performing, innovative team. Our focus is the home furnishings industry,” said Keith Johns, MicroD COO. “It's been very exciting to see our team respond to the challenge of applying our technology and skillsets to the adjacent market of home entertainment. Amini's has a very smart group of people on their end and they have aggressive ecommerce goals. They're a good partner and we look forward to continuing to grow with them.”

This joint venture advanced MicroD’s dynamic catalog partnerships with new manufacturers to offer more configurable, ecommerce-enabled home furnishings and casual furnishings to retailers interested in selling these items with digital commerce.
