International Market Centers (IMC) will host a webinar outlining its Together Safely Master Plan on Wednesday, June 17 at 1 p.m. ET / 10 a.m. PT, sharing health and safety protocols for its summer markets in Atlanta and Las Vegas.
“As we reopen our campuses and resume our markets in the current environment, it is paramount that everyone – buyers, sellers and staff – fully understand the new protocols and commit to following them,” said Bob Maricich, IMC CEO.
The hour-long webinar will address the on-site experience including contactless registration procedures, required use of personal protective equipment (PPE) for all market participants and staff, expanded sanitization policies and the implementation of social distancing and traffic control measures. Webinar guest speaker will be Dr. Carlos del Rio, chair of the Hubert Department of Global Health at the Rollins School of Public Health of Emory University. Leading the discussion from IMC will be EVP of Operations, Greg Avitabile; SVP of Marketing, Karen Olson; general counsel and assistant secretary Neal Patton; and VP of Convention Sales & Housing Bob Schuler.
Registration for “Together Safely | Learn How IMC is Preparing Markets for Reopening” is open to all and is available at https://imcenters.zoom.us/webinar/register/WN_817ggavJT6yr6YQqJDe7Kw.
The Together Safely Master Plan dictates protocols for the reopening of IMC’s facilities in Atlanta, High Point and Las Vegas and the resumption of year-round and market activities. A cross-functional team of IMC staff created the plan using guidance issued by the World Health Organization (WHO), the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), government leaders, industry groups and other experts. Plans and protocols were vetted by Dr. del Rio and state and municipal officials.
The 30-page Together Safely Master Plan is available online at TogetherSafely.com. It is a living document that will be revisited, reviewed, and revised on an ongoing basis as developments in the impact of COVID-19 may require.
