AMP Assists Furniture Industry in Remote Selling and Buying

AMP, a software platform for the furniture industry, has announced it is currently helping manufacturers, reps and retailers manage remote selling and buying during the COVID-19 crisis.
“What we know is that each buyer wants a different walkthrough and that is what the sales reps do so well. The reps need the tools and know how to do their job without markets for the time being. AMP has had this answer for years and is now focused on retraining reps on how to do what they have known inherently at markets and the road to now do from the comfort and safety of their living room sofas,” said Patrick Henley, CEO of AMP.
Remote selling is the new normal for now and is new for most wholesale and retail buyers. AMP has created guides and videos that can be accessed through its portals to train sales reps on this new way of selling. The entire training process takes 20-60 minutes. AMP has videos, webinars and will train anyone 1 on 1.
Throughout this crisis AMP has stayed calm and supported all its clients and users with no interruptions of its products or customer service. “AMP is committed to maintaining the highest level of service to all our customers and users throughout this. In fact we have increased our proactive customer service approach by reaching out to our clients with help and suggestions that directly help during and after the Covid forced shutdowns,” added Henley.
“Manufacturers and sales reps have always been able to use AMP’s remote selling tools, but now more than ever remote selling is not an alternative, it's a necessity,” said Jesse Roark, vice president of sales. “AMP is helping our audience put all the pieces together from existing screen sharing and video technology to helping buyers source products on their own.”
AMP Shop, an online B2B portal for the furniture industry, has been seeing an increase in monthly active users for dealers and buyers who are using the portal to access their dealer’s catalogs and product information every month since the beginning of AMP Shop and through this entire crisis. “We see this as the light at the end of the tunnel that we have all been waiting for. AMP has ramped up to support everyone once they are ready to start selling and buying in the coming weeks,” said Henley.
