The HON Company Debuts Casual Lounge Seating for the Workplace

Office furniture manufacturer The HON Company has announced its new West Hill Collection, a line of casual lounge seating for the workplace.

In collaboration with HON, the Qdesign team of Tim Buchenberger and Rick Joutras created West Hill seating not only for comfort but also for ease of space planning. "My goal is to create meaningful pieces that enrich the user experience," says Joutras. As a result, the West Hill assortment is soft but structured, with lived-in upholstery details that feel at home anywhere in the modern office.

The collection offers two- and three-seat lounge options, with arms and without, as well as a single-seat lounge and ottoman. It is designed to coordinate seamlessly with other HON furniture collections, including Scramble occasional tables, as well as with HON pillow accents. In addition, the legs, seat backs (available in pillow or standard) and fabric can be customized to suit any office style or need.

West Hill was created as an answer to the demand for a refined yet casual aesthetic in today's workplaces. Loose seat and back cushions have a residential feel, and are adaptable, comfortable and easy to maintain. Welting adds refinement and detail, while the collection's dimensions and modularity fit within common office arrangements.

"West Hill is the furniture our partners have asked for," says Troy Williams, product marketing leader for The HON Company. "And it is what companies need, now and in the future, to increase productivity and create comfortable environments for their employees. Whether you place it in a reception area, a lounge or a collaborative space, it stands out for its design and usefulness."
