BrandJump Announces New PIM System at No Extra Cost to Clients

Ecommerce channel management company BrandJump has announced the launch of its new Product Information Management (PIM) system. The SaaS platform is a customized offering that supports BrandJump’s business model as well as their clients’ go-to-market strategies with the top internet retailers. This is a value-added tool BrandJump is implementing at no cost to their client base.

The new software will allow BrandJump to centralize its clients’ products, content, assets, data and imagery and more quickly add this information to internet retailers’ portals. The PIM will automate a large part of the process of uploading information required by retailers’ specific platforms, and will therefore speed up the time to market for new product launches and existing product updates.

The PIM system includes a Connector tool that allows BrandJump to communicate with portal-based retailers through an API. This functionality brings a certain degree of automation into the process for uploading new products, processing item-based updates, bulk content enrichment, image additions and other materials.

Another primary benefit of the system is content readiness. BrandJump will be able to more quickly identify all of the assets a manufacturer has, and then subsequently outline what else may be needed to launch a product to site. Before a product goes live, any gaps that may exist will be much more apparent.

“The PIM will cut time in half in terms of submitting product to internet retailers,” said BrandJump Director of Merchandising and Operations, Shelly Jones-Jackson. “More importantly, this tool frees up time on the merchandising end so we can hone our focus on delivering enhanced content through the use of SEO practices and market positioning, all while allowing us to put a heightened concentration on making sure our brands are best represented in the ecommerce channel.”

Josh Walter, CEO added, “We have assumed the cost of this investment, so we can offer this game changing tool to our clients at no additional cost, giving them a more robust solution for their online product assortment strategy.” The implementation phase starts in April, and it will be fully live by early summer.
