MicroD, a leading provider of online product catalog solutions and digital brand visibility for the home furnishings industry, has announced it will postpone its DRIVE User Conference scheduled for March 17-19.
After North Carolina Governor Roy Cooper declared a State of Emergency due to health risks regarding Coronavirus (COVID-19), the company made the decision to postpone and reschedule the Conference in an attempt to prioritize the health and well-being of their employees, clients and partners who planned to attend the Charlotte-based event.
“We are very thankful to our clients and partners for their overwhelming response to attend the conference. Our team has been closely monitoring the COVID-19 situation, and with the recent State of Emergency declaration in our state, we feel that it’s important to follow the recommendations of our state and local officials,” said Mona Nigam, EVP of Marketing at MicroD. “We value our partners’ and clients’ dedication to the conference and appreciate their understanding during this time as we reschedule this inaugural event.”
MicroD plans to reschedule the Conference for a future date, yet to be determined.
All registered attendees and sponsors have been contacted by MicroD and will be following the company for updates regarding the conference’s new date. Although the conference will be postponed, MicroD plans to move forward with the announcement of new products soon.
