Eclipse Adds 350 Retail Doors

Mattress producer Eclipse International has announced the addition of 350 retail doors to its dealer network in North America for its Eclipse and Eastman House brands.

The company’s growth has come from three regional powerhouses – Farmer’s Home Furniture in the Southeast, American Mattress in Chicago and BedMart in the Northwest – growing the company’s retail footprint in 12 states.

Eclipse’s management team attributes the growth to its strong relationships with those retailers and its new product introductions. In addition to Eclipse’s growing network of retail partners, Mattress Firm sells more than a dozen Eclipse models on its website. Mattress Firm continues to embrace the internet as a fast-growing channel of distribution.

“Each of these retailers are strong players in their markets, and we’re excited to partner with them to broaden the Eclipse and Eastman House brands. Each of these retailers is doing a terrific job in showcasing our design and manufacturing prowess, while working together as a cohesive team,” said Stuart Carlitz, president and CEO of Eclipse. “Our growth as a group, and our success with these retailers, is a result of our ongoing collaborative approach in design, manufacturing and marketing that makes us a stronger entity.”

Eclipse of the Midwest began selling American Mattress Sleep Centers, a Chicago chain with more than 50 stores, last year following a meeting at the Winter 2019 Las Vegas Market. Eclipse of the Southeast has been a long time supplier of Dublin, Georgia-based Farmer’s Home Furniture, and the retailer has expanded its selection of Eclipse models on its floors. In the Northwest, Wilsonville, Oregon-based BedMart has expanded the number of Eclipse and Eastman House models on its floors through a partnership with Eclipse Northwest.

“Our network licensees have embraced our brands and continue to build on the momentum that we are experiencing as a company,” Carlitz said. “Our partners continue to experience strong growth with retailers in their markets, as well as through the additional national business we provide to them.”
