Market Snapshot Program Expands for High Point Market

After successful January 2020 launches at Atlanta Market and Las Vegas Market, IMC will expand its Market Snapshot program beyond a weekly online showcase of new product introductions to include an at-Market display of featured products at the Spring High Point Market, April 25 –29, 2020.
“After a strong debut in Atlanta and Las Vegas, we’re excited to introduce and expand this initiative in High Point,” said Dorothy Belshaw, IMC chief marketing and digital officer. “Through this program, we’re able to give buyers and designers an early look at some of the best new products showing at our Market.”
Market Snapshot presents new, innovative and trendsetting furniture and home décor products at High Point Market on social media, in buyer communications and through the IMC High Point Market website. For each of the eight weeks leading up to Spring Market, six furniture and home décor products from IMC exhibitors will be selected as finalists for the “People’s Choice” awards. The final six “People’s Choice” winners — two each from the furniture upholstery, furniture case goods and home décor categories — are awarded based on popular voting. Following two weeks of online voting, winners will be announced on the opening day of market, April 25.
In a new extension of the Market Snapshot program, select finalist products will be featured in an at-Market display located in the front of the Suites at Market Square. Additionally, all products showcased over the eight-week program will be identified at Spring Market through special signage.
An expected 48 Market Snapshot finalist products will be selected from all submitted for consideration. IMC exhibitors should email their photos to exhibitors@imcenters.com and requirements include hi-resolution image files (jpeg, tiff, eps) of single product shots or styled lifestyle images with the showroom name and location, image credit information (line or showroom), social media tags or handles and product descriptions. Photos will be accepted on a rolling basis and all previously submitted images are under consideration.
