Ed Teplitz Joins Omnia Leather as VP of Sales

Chino, Calif.-based Omnia Leather, a U.S. manufacturer of customer leather upholstery, has named Ed Teplitz as vice president of sales.

“We are very pleased to welcome Ed Teplitz, as vice president of sales, to our executive team. His extensive range of sales, manufacturing and retail experience will greatly benefit our growing company. Ed will work closely with our sales team to enhance and develop strategic initiatives to stimulate sales, grow our business and help us be a better partner for our retailers. Additionally, he will contribute to our marketing and merchandising direction,” said Peter Zolferino, CEO.

Teplitz was most recently president and chief commercial officer of Natuzzi Americas. Prior to Natuzzi, he was president of Thomasville Furniture and held positions of increasing responsibility with Ethan Allen Interiors Inc.

“I am enthusiastic about joining Omnia Leather. There is a strong demand from retailers and consumers for “Made in America” products and with a 31-year history, Omnia is positioned to provide stylish, high quality upholstery. Our quick shipment and commitment to providing options, and virtually unlimited configurations, make Omnia a great fit for retailers who are focused on growing their special order leather upholstery business,” said Teplitz.
