OW Lee Unveils New Interactive Web Tool

Ontario, Calif.-based OW Lee, a manufacturer of high-end outdoor furniture, fire pits, and accessories, has announced the roll out of a new interactive web tool on their website.

The tool has 3D, configuration, and augmented reality components meant to help the consumer visualize how a special order OW Lee chair will look in their space.

The program is available for each furniture collection and can be found on the company’s website on each collection page. A 3D element allows the user to spin the chair a full 360° in any direction as well as zoom in and out. The configurator element allows the user to see the chair in any of OW Lee’s 13 frame finishes and any fabric from the World of Color stock fabric book. The third element incorporates cutting edge augmented reality technology and allows the user to use their phone to view a virtual chair in their space in 360°.

“I am excited to be able to offer our retailers, designers, and consumers this exciting new tool,” said Leisa McCollister, VP of Marketing for OW Lee, “Being able to see a special order product in a virtual setting in real time will surely increase sales conversion and I can’t wait to see the results.”

Each furniture collection includes one SKU enhanced with this new technology. Plans are in place to expand the technology into the company’s Casual Fireside line of fire pits and fire tables as well as additional furniture pieces.
