After establishing a successful interior design firm, selling it, and now owning a lifestyle PR agency called A Design Partnership, CEO Natalie Norcross has launched a DIY public relations platform to the industry called Interior Design PR. With this weeks official launch date, Interior Design PR is offering a first-of-its-kind platform to interior designers.
With a passion for helping designers grow their firms, Ms. Norcross is on a mission to support and encourage designers to reach for more and to provide the tools and strategies for them to get there. The platform offers various membership opportunities for interior designers to get featured and published.
With its Premier Membership, users will receive a public relations strategy with a comprehensive 12 month pitch plan, three monthly trend pitches, project pitches, and profile pitches, media and editor contact list, a “Getting Published” guide, editorial calendars for top design publications, and unlimited public relations help from the experts. A Basic Membership will also be available.
“Truth is, the media NEEDS content. It needs stories and ideas from regular people like you and me. Leveraging the media is how I built my interior design business from scratch and I still haven’t found a better way to grow my audience, email list and sales. Growing my own business by getting featured in the media is fun. Helping others do the same thing for their businesses is even better,” said Natalie Norcross. “The point is, when you know how to pitch the media properly, it’s not hard to get featured and leverage it to get real results that actually grow your business.”
Designers will have the opportunity to share their latest projects, images, sound bites, ideas, tips, collaborations, news, and more with top editors and publications. Each PR strategy that will be offered through Interior Design PR will include objectives and strategies designers and their teams can use to get press, a guidepost on how to position their firm as an expert in the interior design industry with sample targets and sections to pitch, a project outreach plan including what to incorporate, and pitch angles for designers to customize to their projects, and award lists and pitches.
Norcross is a highly creative, innovative, entrepreneur with over 20 years of work experience for Interior Design, Architecture, Builder, Developer, Hotel and Home Brands and has a demonstrated track record of driving exposure and placements.
She is an official Member of Forbes Agency Council as well as a regular speaker and panelist in both the communications and design industries.
