Bedding producer Spring Air International recently signed licensing agreements with two existing partners to expand their territories producing Spring Air’s branded suite of products for distribution in Ohio. Johnson City Bedding will cover the southwestern part of the state, and Pennsylvania Bedding will operate in the northeastern counties.
Both family-owned licensees have well-established regions for distribution of Spring Air’s lineup. Johnson City Bedding, which joined the company’s network in 2018, manages Spring Air in Tennessee, Georgia, Kentucky and Alabama. Pennsylvania Bedding, an 11-year Spring Air licensee, distributes the brand in Washington, D.C., Virginia, New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania, Maryland and Delaware.
With the addition of Ohio, Spring Air is now covered in 48 states with its 10 licensees.
“We’re excited to fill in this gap in our domestic geographic footprint with two proven partners that are integral parts of our network,” said Nick Bates, president of Spring Air International. “We want our licensee base to have the first right of refusal when we have new opportunities, and these two companies are the perfect fit.”
“We are pleased to have the opportunity to expand our Spring Air footprint into southwestern Ohio,” said Bob Parker, president of Johnson City Bedding. “This area has a number of well-established furniture and bedding retailers that are perfectly suited to sell the Spring Air brand. Our affiliation with Spring Air has proven to be a great addition for us and we are looking forward to growing the brand even further.”
Both Johnson City Bedding and Pennsylvania Bedding are key members of Spring Air’s licensing group and are active participants in the company’s committees that work together to develop product, set branding and establish the feel for the Las Vegas Market experience.
