“The rate of innovation at our factories in India has pushed our designs to the forefront of today’s trends. I’m proud of what we’ve accomplished and am looking forward to introducing these pieces into our customers’ spaces,” said Linda Minjares, vice president, Textiles and Rugs.
Mojave’s unique pattern was created using a high-low weaving technique. Dyed black and natural jute fibers were used as the weft yarns while cotton was used as the warp yarn. By interweaving these two fabrics at specific intervals, a raised lattice pattern emerges. The rug’s material choice makes it supple, durable, and sustainable.
Made on a vertical loom with marled wool yarn, jute, and cotton, La Jolla is designed to bring laid back beach vibes to any space. The marled wool, made with twisted wool plies of varying color, gives the rug’s geometric pattern a subtle ombre. The wool also balances the jute fiber’s more rigid texture, creating a pliable product.
Coronado is made on a vertical loom with marled wool yarn, jute, and cotton. The marled yarn, made with twisted wool plies of varying color, gives the rug’s stripe pattern a distinct look. Jute yarns strengthen the wool weave and add a subtle texture to the rug.
Classic Home will be showing their new rugs along with over 200 furniture introductions at their Las Vegas Market showroom (C-309) January 25-30, 2020.
