Allen and James Designs Opens Fiddle Figs Plant Boutique For 360-Degree Design Service

Bespoke interior design firm Allen and James Designs has announced the recent opening of Fiddle Figs, the design firm’s in-house plant boutique under the supervision of Master Gardner, Pam Rogers. Located within Allen and James Designs’ retail operation in downtown High Point, NC, Fiddle Figs offers annual and perennial plants as well as custom container plantings for indoors or out. The boutique’s services also include landscape and gardening consultation and ongoing landscape management.

“The addition of Fiddle Figs allows our clientele to experience a form of 360-degree design as our firm is able to professionally address all areas of a client’s home inside and out,” said Stephanie James, co-owner of Allen and James Designs and Fiddle Figs. “We see the addition of natural plantings as a component in the creation of a home’s total signature look.”

The inspiration for Fiddle Figs was a need James saw in the central North Carolina area for a place to buy quality plans and products as well as receive knowledgeable and creative assistance from a Master Gardner.

“We saw a need and Pam’s love of plants was the answer,” said James. “She enjoys providing a place other plant lovers can not only be educated on care and maintenance of plants; but also the creative use of plantings in the overall home design process. Her specialty of unique custom container gardens for indoors and outdoors makes her work applicable to any home size.”

Pam Rogers began her career in plants in the late 1980’s at Nelson’s Greenhouse and continued through other local nurseries. Since the fall of 2019, Rogers has been a part of the Allen and James Designs team. She is a North Carolina Certified Plant Professional.
