New Home and Design Destination to Debut to the Trade in Spring 2020

Dallas Market Center will welcome Curated, a vast new showroom from Paul Michael, represented by In-Detail, in late spring 2020. Curated will be a 24,000 square foot to-the-trade destination featuring high-design home furnishings including hand-crafted furniture as well as one-of-a kind art and decorative accessories. The showroom will be located on the sixth floor of the World Trade Center.

The new showroom is a marketplace expansion of the Curated brand, which continues to enjoy increasing demand and success within the In-Detail showroom on the fifth floor. Curated will remain inside In-Detail as well as dramatically expand into its own large showroom on the sixth floor, where it will be represented exclusively by In-Detail.

Curated includes signature pieces by Paul Michael that are handcrafted of American materials with careful attention to the integrity of engineering, design details, and finishes. The showroom will present timeless product collections for indoor and outdoor living, including many one-of-a-kind items and antiques, and its collections will be updated continually in order to offer new products throughout the year.

“After three years of success in the In-Detail showroom I am pleased to launch a much larger presentation of carefully designed and manufactured products of the highest standards that are also in sync with the demands of better retailers and designers,” said Paul Michael. “Curated will be a design destination that I could only create together with In-Detail at Dallas Market Center—which has tremendous traffic on a weekly basis and during its robust trade events as well as ease-of-access and efficient dock services to move merchandise on demand. We will have a convenient location where buyers may quickly discover the best of the best for every room in the home and will be treated to a comfortable, inspiring experience.”

According to Cindy Morris, president and CEO of Dallas Market Center, “The addition of Curated is a huge win for our marketplace and our year-round buyer traffic. Paul’s presentation of design-oriented products will serve an eager audience seeking finely crafted pieces. Now more than ever the home and design community seek heirloom-quality products of integrity that are also available quickly. His commitment is a partnership that will ensure that his fabulous finds and handcrafted pieces will be available for years to come. We look forward to the grand opening late this spring.”

Paul Michael is the dynamic force behind Market Hill in Round Top, Texas, which features product from Paul Michael as well as nineteen vendors of antiques, furniture, one-of-a-kind curiosities, and decorative arts that are all open to the public during the twice-annual Round Top Antiques Fair. Curated at Dallas Market Center will be design-driven, unique to the marketplace, and will offer exclusive collections totaling more than three times what is available in Round Top.

The addition of Curated is the latest in the strategic expansion of home and design resources at Dallas Market Center.
