Sullens’ focus will transition to researching, merchandising and working closely with the product development team and factories. Sullens will continue to report to President and CEO Don Essenberg.
Sullens started his furniture career selling on the retail floor of Jordan’s Furniture. He has been a successful sales representative in several territories and began the management part of his career in 2002. He held senior sales and marketing positions with Lexington Home Brands and Broyhill Furniture. Sullens was director of the Natuzzi Design Studio prior to joining Legacy Classic. He joined Legacy Classic in 2015 as vice president of sales and was promoted in 2017 to vice president of sales and merchandising for LC Kids.
Sullens received his MBA from Southern New Hampshire University and his BS in Business Administration/Marketing from Marist College in Poughkeepsie, N.Y. He resides in High Point with his wife, Vanessa, and their two daughters.
“We are very excited about Scott’s heightened involvement in merchandising across both Legacy Classic and LC Kids brands,” said Essenberg. “We feel confident Scott’s extensive knowledge of design, product and retail will strengthen our product offering and increase sales of Legacy Classic and LC Kids in multiple ways.”
