IMC to Launch Snapshot Program, New Product Competition for Winter 2020 Markets

In the 11 weeks leading up to market, a variety of cross-category products will be selected each week as finalists for the “People’s Choice” awards. Online voting for the People’s Choice awards will open one week before opening day, and winners will be announced at Winter Market. Product finalists will also be identified onsite at each market, offering buyers the opportunity to see all products in-person.
“Buyers come to market to discover new product, and this new initiative will give them weekly insights into some of the best resources featured at IMC’s markets in Atlanta and Las Vegas,” said Dorothy Belshaw, IMC chief marketing and digital officer. “With Market Snapshot we are providing buyers with a preview of emerging trends and unique finds, and through our at-market ‘People’s Choice’ awards, we are recognizing products that buyers tell us are the best overall."
Finalists will be selected from all photos submitted to the markets for marketing and communications consideration. Atlanta market brands interested in submitting photos should email them to photography@AmericasMart.com. Las Vegas Market brands should email their photos to exhibitors@IMCenters.com. Both markets ask for hi-resolution image files (jpeg, tiff, eps) of single product shots or styled lifestyle images with the showroom name and location, image credit information (line or showroom) and social media tags or handles included with the submissions. Photos will be accepted on a rolling basis and all previously submitted images are under consideration.
