Fast Fact: Furniture, Bedding Sales Climb 5.7% in Q3

After a dip in first quarter furniture and bedding sales this year, the furniture industry has picked up momentum in the third quarter, pushing sales up 5.7% over 2018 Q3, according to the proprietary market model from Impact Consulting, parent company of Home Furnishings Business.
Furniture and bedding sales totaled $30.57 billion in the third quarter of 2019, compared to $28.92 billion in last year’s third quarter.
Total industry sales reached $87.97 billion year-to-date, a growth of 4.3% over the same time period in 2018.
