Coohom Now Valued at $1 Billion, Seeks to Enhance 3D Platform

Kujiale.com, the parent company of Coohom, China’s leading 3D visualization and interior design platform for the home furnishings industry, has announced its Series D+ round of funding has raised the company’s valuation to $1 billion.

Led by Hillhouse Capital Group with participation from Coohom’s previous investors Shunwei Capital and GGV Capital, the funding will be used to improve the software platform and enhance its ability to provide digital solutions for the home furnishings industry. Additionally, the funding will help with expansion overseas.

The company aims to build an open ecosystem for the industry aimed at helping companies with e-commerce and brick-and-mortar storefronts with delivering the best omnichannel shopping experiences.

Coohom’s platform currently enables a home furnishings company to become a leader in 3D visualization. The platform includes products for 3D product configuration, automated imagery, floor planning tools, and also mixed reality experiences including AR and VR.

“Those who embrace digital technology will take the lead in the global digital economy,” states Victor Huang, co-founder and executive chairman of Kujiale.

Globally, the company boasts over 8 million interior designers, 25 million total platform users, and over 16,000 home décor brands using the platform. To continue expanding, Kujiale has opened offices in Singapore and Malaysia and has incorporated in the U.S. with an official office launching in November.
