Coaster Promotes Don Deeds to EVP of Sales and Marketing

Furniture distributor Coaster Company of America has announced the promotion of Don Deeds to executive vice president of sales and marketing.

With over 25 years of experience in retail, wholesale, corporate sales and operations in the furniture industry, Deeds has attributed to Coaster’s high volumes of organic traffic to dealers and has shown proven collaborative strategies that maintain both company and dealer interests and goals. Deeds has incorporated the company’s essence for success, which is “Communication is key”.

“We are excited to see Don grow in our company and appreciate his holistic approach to sales and marketing,” said Janice Yeh, director of business operations for Coaster. “By being prevalent in the consumers’ minds and having them seek rather than stumble on our brands is what our goal is. This effectively ensures and conveys our on-going strategy of being an omni-channel solution. Don understands this all too well and has insights to help our valued dealers receive enhanced product information.”

In his new role, Deeds will also be responsible for the creation of relevant visual and marketing tools to support the product team as they introduce new and diverse collections that are specifically designed for varying audiences further empowering retailers to reach every corner of the consumer market with Coasters’ products.

Deeds will be leading the initiative for Coaster as he assists dealers in showing off all the products the company carries. “My brain thinks retail, it’s with the dealers that I feel my full potential of growth with,” said Deeds.  “I understand the customer, new and existing, and starting at a turning point with Coaster six years ago when new directions were taken has allowed me to see that growth which makes my job rewarding on many levels.”
