Mega Motion to Debut MegaGuard Performance Fabrics at High Point

Mobility furniture producer Mega Motion, a subsidiary of Pride Mobility Products Corporation, has announced the debut of its MegaGuard Performance Fabric at the October High Point Market.

Developed in cooperation with the Z Woven, MegaGuard Performance Fabrics will include three patterns with a total of 11 separate colors. Using technology from Alta Senior Living, the fabrics feature performance properties such as repellency to liquids, are antimicrobial, are easy to clean without using some special cleaner and abrasion protection; all without impacting the softness and hand of the fabrics. A moisture barrier backing is also applied to prevent the chance of any liquid seeping into filling materials that would cause odors or other damages.

“The ease of care and cleaning, added durability, plus having the moisture barrier backing makes MegaGuard Performance Fabrics the ultimate fabric choice for power lift recliners,” said Dwight Hardison, managing director of Mega Motion. “In addition, the processes that Alta Senior Living uses are eco-friendly, permanent water-based technology and free from any solvents, VOCs and heavy metals.”

The new fabrics will be shown and available on multiple premium models in their debut at the High Point Market. Mega Motion will also display other power recliners with lift, the Ultimate Power Recliner line and Rascal Mobility Scooters. The showroom is in

Space PS 100 in the hallway between La-Z-Boy and Plaza Suites.
