Calif.-based Classic Home has announced its continued investment in its Indian production facilities, including committing to expanding current factories and constructing new ones.
The company is on track to increase capacity by 25% by the end of the first quarter of 2020, and a new factory set to open within two years will double that. Classic Home will be bringing dozens of its globally sourced pieces, including from India, to High Point Market.
Two pieces that benefit from factory improvements include the Maisie Extensional Dining Table and Evan Double Bookshelf. Both made with mango wood, the dining table has intricate carving on its legs and features a geared slide extension mechanism that spreads and closes both sides of the table simultaneously. The bookshelf pairs precision cut wood with an iron frame for an industrial-inspired storage piece that can enhance any décor.
Classic Home’s strategic investment in India provides the company with multiple outlets for sourcing new products, giving customers more choice when purchasing.
“Our improvements to Indian factories give our customers a wider range of products at a faster rate, giving them first access to unique products that will set them apart,” said Chief Operating Officer Marci Jones.
The company’s India-produced pieces along with other introductions from around the world will be available to shop at its High Point showroom (IHFC D-443) during market (October 18-23).
