FrontRoom Furnishings Going Out of Business

Columbus, Ohio-based FrontRoom Furnishings has announced it will go out of business permanently, closing all six central Ohio retail stores and selling company-owned real estate.

Store-closing events at five locations have been underway, and this going-out-of-business announcement now includes the Columbus store at 940 Polaris Parkway, which will begin its liquidation sale October 12.

The other locations include Tuttle Crossing in Dublin; Brice Rd. in Columbus; Commons Dr. in Springdale; North 21st St. in Newark; and the Fifty-Off store in Dublin on Britton Parkway.

“After much consideration, the  FrontRoom executive team made the difficult decision to close the last remaining store in Columbus because the business model was no longer profitable for the firm,” said Tom Liddell, senior vice president and managing director for Planned Furniture Promotions, which is handling the going-out-of-business sale and assisting with the real estate marketing.

The FrontRoom and Fifty-Off store buildings are for sale or lease, with details available at www.frontroombuildings.com.
