Raffel Systems Opens New Facility in Mississippi

Wisconsin-based Raffel Systems, producer of electronic controls for furniture, cinema seating, bedding, and more has opened a facility in Tupelo, Mississippi designed to focus on new product development for its furniture customers.

The new facility is at 3166 West Jackson, Suite #3, convenient to the Tupelo Regional Airport. “The sole purpose of our new NPD building is to imagine and develop new products for our company and do it in a location that facilitates collaborative interaction with our customers,” said John Dudash, CEO. “With this initiative, Raffel Systems is bringing a new meaning to “global presence with local support.’”

The building includes a new state-of-the-art lab that offers the latest rapid prototyping and engineering technologies. “The lab allows Raffel to put a prototype in customer’s hands within hours of design finalization,” said Dudash. Testing capabilities include basic functional and electrical tests, load testing, and circuit verification.

The facility will be staffed by a team of mechanical and electrical engineers. The team includes Ashley Booth, who serves as NPD design engineer, and is led by Dustin Cook, NPD manager and Justin Saul, engineering supervisor—NPD.

“This team will be working closely with customers to develop the future of electronics in the furniture industry,” said Dudash.
