Christiane Lemieux to Keynote ISFD Pinnacle Awards Gala

Lemieux’s address, “Design Matters,” will take place Monday, Oct. 21 from 6 – 9 p.m. at High Point University’s Congdon School of Health Sciences.
Lemieux is one of the country’s leading design entrepreneurs and experts in home décor and furnishings. She also operates and designs her namesake brand Lemieux et Cie. The first company Lemieux founded, DwellStudio, was bought by Wayfair and she served as Wayfair’s creative director until 2016. Lemieux is the author of Undecorate and The Finer Things, and is a frequent contributor to Architectural Digest, Apartment Therapy and other design media. She was also the co-host and a judge on Ellen DeGeneres’s HGTV furniture design competition show Ellen’s Design Challenge.
Listed as one of Fortune’s 2012 Most Powerful Women Entrepreneurs, Lemieux is also a passionate philanthropist. As a board member for Christy Turlington-Burns’ foundation, Every Mother Counts, she regularly travels the world to participate in initiatives aimed at providing maternal health for all mothers. Lemieux is a graduate of Parsons School of Design and Queen’s University in Canada and currently resides in New York City.
Awards will be presented in 20 home furnishings categories, with finalists and winning designs promoted to retailers in the U.S. and around the world. Winning products will also have the right to feature the 2019 Pinnacle Award logo on all related media, collateral and packaging.
