Howell Furniture Kicks Off 60th Anniversary with a Month-Long Celebration

The mayor of Beaumont, Texas kicked off a month-long celebration to honor Howell Furniture’s 60th anniversary, according to a report from local news station 6KFDM.
Mayor Becky Ames also declared October 10 Howell Furniture Day in Beaumont. The month-long celebration includes weekly furniture giveaways and the customer with the oldest receipt will win a $3,000 shopping spree.
"Our community has been through so much these last two years, but we have also recovered just as I expected," said co-owner Shawn Hanley. "We are so proud to be a part of the communities we serve. We were raised in this area and have now raised our families here and we owe everything we have to the people of SE Texas and Louisiana."
