Dorel Home, the home furnishings division of Dorel Industries Inc., has announced it will be showcasing its new line of pet and gaming furniture at the upcoming High Point Market.
Branded Ollie & Hutch, the company will display a wide range of modern and functional pet furniture in their showroom. Similar to their trendy furnishings, the line includes pet-size versions of Dorel Home’s most popular collections and colors, as well as innovations in new products.
The Ollie & Hutch line comprises a chesterfield styled pet sofa, pin tufted velvet finishes and upholstery. The pet sofas require minimal assembly and have velvet and linen covers that are stain resistant and machine washable. The line also includes a modern farmhouse style collection of dog beds, litter box enclosures and aquarium stands.
“We are changing the way that pet furniture is perceived and styled in a home. As pet parenting is on the rise, we are enhancing the style of pet furniture to blend more naturally with your home décor,” said Nick Fiore, vice president of sales, marketing and product development at DHP Furniture, a division of Dorel Home.
NTense, the new gaming brand, will have a display of technology driven designs for both youth and adult consumers. The line features TV stands, desks, high-back chairs, stools, and rockers with sleek styles, RGB light bars, built-in speakers and accessories to enhance any gamer’s dream room.
The desks and TV stands are designed with a balance of mixed materials and edgy details to create an on-trend look with proper storage and ventilation for PC or console gaming systems. The NTense variety of seating options will ensure the best ergonomics for consumer’s gaming preferences with neutral colorways and easy-to-clean surfaces.
“Now’s the breakout time for gaming furniture as youth and adults alike take interest in virtual escapes whether that be through video games or movies,” said Ray Toal, vice president of ecommerce sales at Ameriwood, a division of Dorel Home. “We are excited to become key players in this category and open up to the world of eSports.”
Ollie & Hutch and NTense will be on display in the Dorel Home’s High Point showroom on floor 9 of the C&D Building.
