“We wanted a fresh take on what it means to be ‘classic’, because we know that traditional furniture is still a top choice for many consumers,” said Stefanie Lucas, chief merchandising officer. “The idea of traditional is changing with every generation. Sometimes it means traditional in the sense of quality, which this collection certainly has, or with classic lines and detailing, like panels or flutes. Other times, classic furniture has to mix into a home styled with modern or more transitional furniture. The Woodbridge collection offers a stylish twist that can be taken in many different directions, regardless of your style profile.”
The two new bed designs are available in wood and upholstered versions with case pieces to complement either bed. In the offering for dining, the room is anchored with a tabletop design using directional wood planks of mitered squares, giving it a farmhouse feel, yet the base is classically weighted with scroll and carved detailing. Unique accents include a softly carved, open back dining bench (in two colors) and a studded leather buffet.
To ground the living room and complement the upholstered Davenport sectional (also new, with standard plush memory foam seating), the Woodbridge occasional tables have removable tray tops, a myriad of sizes, and legs adorned with metal brackets.
