Urban Barnwood Partners with High-End Designer on Two Collections for HP Market

The idea for the collection came after Chase Ryan visited Ohio Amish Country earlier this year to immerse himself in the culture and experience the process of dismantling a centuries old barn. He left the barn site and immediately began sketching. The fruit of his ideas culminated in two new collections: the 1869 Dining Collection and 1869 Bedroom Collection.

The 1869 Dining Collection features an authentic untouched barn beam down the middle of the table base visible through the glass top. The 1869 Bedroom Collection features leather and metal tastefully blended with barnwood boards.

The Urban Barnwood brand was launched in 2014 after the owners had many years of experience building other types of rustic furniture. The brand uses a process that is real and authentic, starting with hardwood oak harvested from real American barns primarily from the Ohio Valley area and then heat-treating the material for the perfect moisture content and to exterminate all insects keeping the raw material unmatched in the market.
