Ikea Reports Record Sales, Exceeds $44 Billion

Swedish behemoth Ikea announced its annual retail sales have exceeded $44 billion, for the first time in company history.
Sales of products and services to Ikea customers rose 6.5% in the year through August, which according to a statement, is the company’s fastest growth since 2016. While slow to embrace online services, the furniture giant pushed hard into e-commerce resulting in a surge in online revenue.
