Drawing on a refined, sophisticated sense of traditional design elements with a modern edge, Browne & Moore Collection by EJ Victor will launch its debut furniture collection showcasing its Modern Classic flair at the High Point Fall Market, October 19-23, 2019.
The Modern Classic quality of the Browne & Moore aesthetic is evident. The historically clean lines of Biedermeier and American Empire design traditions are used throughout the collection and are blended with modern, sophisticated design cues and forms from around the world to create a design vernacular that is timely and timeless.
“More and more customers are asking for traditional in a cleaner format,” said John Jokinen, CEO of EJ Victor. “This collection is nothing like traditional used to be with a lot of inlay and gold application. This is clean merchandise that even a contemporary customer may view as not so traditional.”
Fresh and refined, the Browne & Moore Home Collection is a curated mix of elegant “Modern Classic” design elements that are instantly at home in almost any environment. Browne & Moore was founded on the idea that luxe comfort, sophisticated style and family-tested durability are not mutually exclusive. “This isn’t your parents traditional furniture,” says Matthew Frederick, designer and partner at Browne & Moore. “Browne & Moore is ‘Modern Classic’. When asked to define ‘Modern Classic’, we feel it is an artisan combination of time tested, refined details tailored to the needs of a modern lifestyle. The entire collection has an aesthetic that combines the best of traditional furniture design with a crisp, fresh modern sensibility people want in home furnishings today.”
Becky Wein, designer and partner at Browne & Moore said, “We are thrilled to have developed the line as an American story. From the upholstery and case goods to the fabric and actual manufacturing operations, most of the collection is made by hand in the United States. That affords us an extremely high level of design and quality control while maximizing options for customization.”
Browne & Moore isn’t just for residential interiors applications. The company has capabilities to furnish luxury hospitality, contract, and multi-family development opportunities.
The Browne & Moore debut collection will be showcased at the EJ Victor showroom from October 17 – 23, 2019 at 116 South Lindsay Street, High Point, NC with a launch reception on Saturday, Oct. 19 from 7-9 p.m.
