High Point Market Offers Expanded Style Spotters Tour for Fall Market

The expanded version of the popular Style Spotters Trend Tours will once again be offered by the High Point Market Authority (HPMA) for Fall Market, Oct. 19-23, 2019. The focus will be on exposing Market attendees to the wide variety of exhibitors High Point Market has to offer.

Traditionally, the Style Spotters Trend Tours have been offered on Tuesday of each Market, immediately following the Style Spotters LIVE! breakfast. The tours consisted of each Style Spotter picking two of their favorite showrooms around Market and then leading a group on a tour of those two showrooms within a 60-minute timeframe.

The program was expanded at the Spring 2019 Market to offer two different types of Trend Tours – Favorites Tours and Category Tours. The Favorites Tours will follow the traditional schedule and will be offered on the morning of Tuesday, Oct. 22, at 10:15 a.m. following the Style Spotters’ breakfast event, showcasing two favorite showrooms each during one-hour tours. Four Style Spotters will offer these tours – Shayla Copas, Kara Cox, Benjamin Johnston, and Courtney McLeod. No RSVP is required for the Favorites Tours.

Category Tours will expand the program beyond Tuesday programming, offering 2-hour tours on a specific product category and covering four showrooms each. Two tours per day will depart from The Point each morning at 9:30 a.m. on Saturday, Oct. 19, and Sunday, Oct. 20, with one tour departing on Monday, Oct. 21.

The Saturday tours will feature Laura Thurman focusing on showrooms with a global aesthetic and Style Spotters Advisor Gary Inman focusing on hospitality. The Sunday tours will feature Eric Haydel focusing on antiques and antique reproductions and Erinn Valencich focusing on designer-friendly furniture. The Monday tour will feature Cynthia Ferguson focusing on textiles.

Space is limited for each of the Category Tours and advanced registration is required. An RSVP form for the Category Tours and details about the Trend Tours program as a whole can be found at www.highpointmarket.org/events/ss-trend-tours.
