Restonic Announces National Contest to Win a Free Biltmore Mattress

Bedding producer Restonic Mattress Corp., in partnership with Biltmore in Ashville, N.C., has announced a national consumer contest for a free Biltmore Shippable Sleep Mattress.

The contest will be held on Restonic’s trademarked SleepBlog and promoted across social media channels of both brands from Sept. 16 – 30. 

Biltmore joined forces with Restonic in 2018, which has resulted in product placement in hundreds of stores across the U.S. and communication online with millions of consumers. The contest, which asks consumers a simple question and offers multiple ways to enter, is expected to exceed previous contests in terms of reach and engagement.

Each month, Restonic publishes a blog post in collaboration with Biltmore, which tells stories from George and Edith Vanderbilt’s lifetime with historical artifacts and weaves in the modern day conundrum (and potential solutions) of how to get a better night’s sleep. The posts are republished in consumer and retail newsletters and used in training materials to sales reps.

“Biltmore is well-storied brand and a strong supporter of our digital storytelling, helping us reach both consumers as well as retailers who may be interested in flooring the product in their stores,” says Julia Rosien, vice president of brand and digital marketing, Restonic. “Brick-and-mortar stores set the stage for the purchasing process and a strong digital connection enhances their relationship with consumers much earlier in the shopping cycle.”

Restonic officials report dramatic spikes in traffic during contest periods and since they launched their blog in 2013, website traffic has increased by more than 700%.
