Columbus, Ohio-based FrontRoom Furnishings has announced it will begin liquidation of most of its central Ohio retail stores beginning Sept. 2.
Store closing events will take place at five of the six Ohio-based retail locations: Tuttle Crossing in Dublin; Brice Rd. in Columbus; Commons Dr. in Springdale; and North 21st St. in Newark, which has been open to the public since August 1. The liquidation also includes the Fifty-Off store in Dublin on Britton Parkway.
These stores total more than 300,000 square feet of showroom with quality furniture for every room in the home from famous brands such as Smith Brothers, Flexsteel, Klaussner, Craftmaster, Howard Miller, John Michael, Southern Motion, Riverside and Aspen Home.
The FrontRoom and Fifty-Off store buildings from these liquidation events are also for sale or lease, with details available at www.frontroombuildings.com.
FrontRoom Furnishings selected leading high-impact sales management company Planned Furniture Promotions (PFP) to handle the store closing events.
“The owners of FrontRoom have been in the furniture retail business for 60 years, and PFP is proud to have their trust in helping them navigate the complex process of multi-site liquidation and building sales and leases,” said Tom Liddell, senior vice president and managing director for PFP.
FrontRoom Furnishings was established in 2005 by former owners of the 63-store chain Sofa Express, having sold that company previously. The roots of the company date back to the original opening of Westgate Furniture in 1959.
