Adjustable bed producer Reverie has announced the integration of its Reverie Connect voice activation feature on all its Bluetooth-compatible adjustable power bases this fall.
As more than half of today’s consumers are comfortable with smart home technology, and 69 percent of U.S. households own a smart product, according to leading market intelligence firm TraQline, consumers have a growing appetite for bringing innovation into their bedrooms.
“The adoption of smart home technology continues to grow, and we will continue to expand our offerings to deliver technology to the bedroom. We’re committed to advancing technology that helps improve the sleep, and Reverie Connect allows consumers to find the right sleep experience for them through voice commands through their smart devices,” said Martin Rawls-Meehan, president and chief executive officer of Reverie. “Simple, easy and seamless – our voice activation allows consumers to adjust the base, but also allows them to program an effective bedtime routine, a key in healthy sleep habits.”
Reverie Connect can receive up to nine voice direct commands that will activate the base to various user-defined positions as well as pre-set positions, including zero gravity, anti-snore and flat.
Reverie’s 2019 adjustable power base lineup includes four models that feature Bluetooth connectivity, including its i R650 with the company’s proprietary 3D-Wave massage technology with four wave modes, 10 intensity levels and a whisper-quiet motor. In addition to the R650, the other adjustable power bases that feature Reverie Connect are the R550L, the R550, the R450HT, the R400, and the R350LP
The company is the first adjustable base manufacturer to partner with Google on voice activation technology using the tech giant’s “Smart Action” commands that streamline the process. Programming allows users to set up to three custom memory positions that can be activated by voice command.
The company’s extensive lineup of adjustable power bases featuring Reverie Connect is currently being shown at the Summer Las Vegas Market in Reverie’s showroom located at B-925 of the World Market Center.
