Mlily Unveils New Fan Cooling Sleep System

Mattress manufacturer Mlily has unveiled the Power Breeze, the industry’s first-ever air-cooled sleep system with a series of fans in the adjustable base that channel air through the mattress.
The system establishes a new standard for sleeping cool by keeping air flowing continually through the cushioning layers and the pocketed coil innerspring unit of the hybrid mattress.
Making its debut on the 117th anniversary of the invention of air conditioning, the four fans – two at the head of the bed, one in the lumbar area and one at the foot – quietly prevent moisture build-up and work in conjunction with the cool knit fabric cover and ventilated bamboo charcoal memory foam in the mattress to deliver the ultimate in cool sleep.
“It’s similar to an air hockey table, but with high-quality, quiet fans. The fans keep air moving throughout the night, and the sleeper feels a very gentle breeze,” said James Ni, chairman and chief executive officer of Healthcare Co. The fans are attached to the adjustable base and are controlled by a remote unit with an LCD screen that comes with the base. Functions include a timer that automatically shuts off the fans after 2, 4 or 5 hours, and an alarm to wake the sleeper in the morning. The entire base, including the fans, comes with a five-year warranty.
Retailing at $5,999 for the queen-size mattress and adjustable base, Power Breeze is currently featured at the Summer Las Vegas Market in the Mlily showroom, B-912.
In addition to the cool knit fabric cover and ventilated bamboo charcoal memory foam, the mattress features a layer of Mlily’s proprietary Smart Foam, which delivers the benefits of latex, and a layer of breathable comfort foam to create a more supple feel.
The adjustable base has an array of high-end features, including an articulating head and foot, LED underbed lighting and USB ports. It also has pre-set zero gravity position to relieve stress on the lower back region. Power Breeze is available in twin XL, queen and king sizes.
