Corsicana’s Flagship Brand Expands with 6 New Models

Corsicana Mattress has added six boxed bed sleep sets to its flagship American Bedding Brand, launching at the Summer Las Vegas Market.

The new models are priced to retail at the from $299 to $599 and give the brand a complete offering in the boxed bed segment allowing retailers to capture online shoppers.

The new models, which feature a pocketed coil innerspring unit and a variety of foam comfort and support layers, will go into production immediately after their unveiling. Retailers placing orders during the Market will have the new beds within weeks, and ahead of the key Labor Day sale period.

“Since re-launching the American Bedding brand in January, dealers have responded enthusiastically and sales have exceeded our expectations,” said Michael Thompson, CEO. “We know the summer Market tends to be lighter on bedding introductions, but we think it’s important we continue our momentum. Expanding the lineup to include boxed beds gives our dealers additional ways to target their consumer at these high-velocity price points.”

Suitable for the brick-and-mortar and e-commerce channels, the roll-packed beds are designed for consumers seeking comfort and affordability in a good night’s sleep.

The new mattresses include two entry-level models with a 6-inch pocketed coil innerspring and profiles ranging from eight to 10 inches, while the four other introductions utilize an 8-inch pocketed coil and have profiles ranging from 11 inches to 13 inches. All of the 11- to 13-inch models feature high-density gel-infused memory foam for support, comfort and temperature regulation.

The high-density gel memory foam layers have been combined with varying amounts of firm or medium polyurethane foam to deliver a variety of comfort levels in tight top and pillowtop configurations.

Corsicana’s Las Vegas showroom, B-1300, will be open one day prior to the official market opening.

The new products have all been developed at Corsicana’s recently opened product innovation center at its Dallas headquarters, where an integrated team of designers, engineers and marketers strive to enhance innovation in the under-$1,000 mattress segment.
