Classic Brands Bring 2 New Value Lines to LV Market
Specialty bedding manufacturer Classic Brands has announced the launch of two aggressively priced bedding collections at the upcoming Las Vegas Market that spotlight the company’s tariff-free products.
One of the new collections, a four-model hybrid lineup called Posture Cloud, features retail price points of $399 to $699 in queen, while the new ValuePedic collection is a three-model memory foam line retailing for $269 to $399 in queen. It is the company’s first-ever entry-level memory foam collection.
“With the upheaval in the marketplace due to tariffs and anti-dumping duties, we felt it was time to capitalize on the capabilities of our non-Chinese manufacturing partners and introduce products that deliver a good night’s sleep at very competitive price points,” said Mark Owen, executive vice president of sales and business development. “And we’re focusing on two of the most popular segments of the business – hybrids and memory foam.”
Earlier this year, Classic moved all of its production out of China to factories in Malaysia, Indonesia and Vietnam, enabling the company to avoid the tariffs and anti-dumping duties recently implemented on Chinese-made mattresses.
The Posture Cloud hybrid line features a pocketed coil innerspring unit cushioned with gel- and charcoal-infused memory foam. Utilizing a stretch knit cover that gives the line the look and feel of premium specialty bedding, mattresses range from 9.5 inches to 12 inches in height.
The ValuePedic memory foam collection features models at 8, 10 and 12 inches in height with a core of gel-infused memory foam. Like all Classic Brands mattresses, the newest line can be roll-packed and shipped in a box, and is suitable for the e-commerce and brick-and-mortar retail channels.
The new collections will be showcased in the company’s Las Vegas Market showroom, B-970.
