Dan Manning Joins NCFI as North American Bedding Sales Manager

Foam manufacturer NCFI has named industry veteran Dan Manning as North American bedding sales manager to lead the company’s push into boxed beds for retailers.

As North American bedding sales manager, a new position for the company, Manning brings a decade of sales experience in consumer products and business-to-business sales for some of the major names in the mattress industry to the role.

NCFI, long known as a foam supplier and private-label boxed bed manufacturer, is now using its industry expertise to develop a line of mattresses for retailers looking to capitalize on the category’s growth.

“Dan is well-respected throughout the bedding industry and his knowledge, specific to the specialty sleep category, is unmatched,” said Chris Bradley, executive vice president of the company’s consumer products division. “His depth of industry knowledge, competitiveness and energy make him the perfect fit to help us grow our consumer products division, as well as work on expanding our private label manufacturing.”

Manning has held key sales positions with a number of the industry’s leading foam and latex suppliers, including Talalay Global, and FXI. Most recently, he was vice president of sales for Belgium latex manufacturer Atilat. Manning joined the bedding industry in 2010 as an inside sales representative for FXI. In 2014 he joined Latex International, now Talalay Global, as vice president of sales where he focused on national accounts and product development.

“This is an exciting opportunity to be on the ground floor of building a new division at NCFI for boxed beds,” Manning said. “Being tasked with growing the consumer products division in North America at such a dynamic time in the boxed bed category is an exciting charge I’m eager to tackle.”

Manning received his bachelor’s degree in business administration and marketing from Arcadia University. He currently lives in Huntersville, N.C.
