Reverie Revamps Nightstand App

Adjustable bed producer Reverie has announced the relaunch of its Nightstand app that allows full control of its adjustable power bases from iOS devices.

The upgraded app allows for complete customization of the controls for the base and allows users to save specific bedtime routines to ensure they consistently get a good night’s sleep.

The app, which also features a customizable dashboard, is compatible with Reverie Connect, the company’s voice activation system that works with Google Home and Amazon Alexa. The original Nightstand app was introduced four years ago.

“Nighttime routines are one of the keys to getting a good night’s sleep, and our enhanced Reverie Nightstand app makes it easier to program these routines so they can be used every night with the touch of a single button,” said Lisa Tan, chief marketing officer of Reverie. “It’s even more convenient than the remote control, and the screen can now be set to a more sleep-friendly mode with less blue light, which has been shown to disrupt sleep.”

For example, if a consumer likes to relax in the zero gravity position with massage for 15 minutes and then recline to the flat position for sleep, that routine can be stored by the app for use every night. The app also has dual-side functionality, which allows one user to quiet a snoring partner by setting the base to the anti-snore position.

Reverie is also offering enhanced tech support with the new app that includes videos that help consumers and retail sales associates use the updates.

Available for download from the Apple Store, the upgraded app will be demonstrated at the Las Vegas Market, July 28-Aug. 1, in Reverie’s showroom, space B-925.
