Four Hands CEO Named Entrepreneur of the Year

Matthew Briggs of Four Hands, a leading designer and global importer of trendsetting lifestyle home furnishings, received the Entrepreneur Of The Year 2019 Award in the Distribution, Manufacturing and Real Estate category in Central Texas. The award recognizes entrepreneurs who are excelling in areas such as innovation, financial performance and personal commitment to their businesses and communities, while also transforming our world.

Matthew Briggs was selected by an independent panel of judges, and the award was presented at a special gala event on June 27, 2019 at the JW Marriott in Austin, Texas.

“EY’s Entrepreneur Of The Year award is one of the most prestigious awards for entrepreneurs across the globe, and I’m incredibly honored to be recognized among some of the top business leaders in Central Texas,” said Briggs, CEO of Four Hands. “Four Hands has been on a mission to evolve into a full lifestyle brand as well as improve every aspect of the customer experience. The changes we have made have clearly resonated with our customers and have allowed us to double the revenue over the last 5 years. We have an amazingly talented team of people that have made this happen and I’m incredibly grateful and proud to work with them.”

As a Central Texas award winner, Briggs is now eligible for consideration for the Entrepreneur Of The Year 2019 National Awards. Award winners in several national categories, as well as the Entrepreneur Of The Year National Overall Award winner, will be announced at the Entrepreneur Of The Year National Awards gala in Palm Springs, California, on November 16, 2019. The awards are the culminating event of the Strategic Growth Forum, the nation’s most prestigious gathering of high-growth, market-leading companies.
