Lifestyle Designers Stage Twin Star Showroom for Vegas Market
Twin Star Home, a market leader in electric fireplaces and electronic desks, is building on the momentum of their successful Showroom ‘Style Takeover’ approach for the upcoming Las Vegas Market, July 28 - Aug. 1. Four lifestyle bloggers, influencers and designers will each be given areas in the Twin Star Home showroom to stage based on popular design themes and show how four different consumers with four distinct lifestyles would feature Twin Star Home products in their homes.
Twin Star has numerous patents and innovations in their portfolio including the most realistic 3D Flame Effect, Safer Plug and ActiveLife series of adjustable height desks. The company’s consumer-driven approach has garnered numerous awards for home furnishings products that marry on-trend styles with innovative patent-pending fireplace, media, and workplace.
The designers participating in the ‘Style Takeover’ in Las Vegas—San Diego-based team of Treci Smith and Rachel Moriarty; Columbia, South Carolina designer Christy Davis; and Los Angeles-based Shannon Ggem—were challenged to accessorize and decorate spaces incorporating Twin Star Homes’ line of fire and furnishings in ways that consumers and dealers can easily bring to life in their own spaces. The brand took the designers through a deep-dive approach into several consumer segments to give them a sense of who their customers are and what makes them tick.
“Each of these talented designers bring a distinct point of view to the challenge,” said Lisa Cody, Twin Star Home’s vice president of marketing. “All of them are very much in touch with and sensitive to the needs of real-life consumers and it shows in their designs. Treci, for instance, loves to mix classic, vintage, and bohemian looks; she’ll be partnering for this project with Rachel, who gravitates toward bold color and playful accents. Christy is known for serene color palettes and fresh perspectives on traditional design, and Shannon, whose expertise is in whole-home remodels, is great at mixing old and new. We can’t wait to see how they’ll marry their style sense with our products and bring our Showroom to life.”
The takeover process will be documented from beginning to end, and the photos, videos, and design ideas generated will be used throughout the year on Twin Star Home’s websites, blogs and social media platforms as well as be made available to dealers who carry Twin Star Home products.
“The ‘Style Takeover’ concept was a natural outgrowth of Twin Star Home’s commitment to consumer research. We are obsessed with understanding our consumers and it’s part of our organization’s DNA to view everything we do through their lens,” added Cody. “The ‘Style Takeover’ is a great way for retailers visiting the Twin Star Home Las Vegas showroom to learn about our products and bring home concrete ideas about how to display them in their stores.”
