Reverie CEO Appears on Fox Business Network Morning Show

During the 4 ½-minute live segment, Rawls-Meehan told host Maria Bartiromo about the company’s partnership with Google Home and Amazon Alexa that allows its adjustable bases to be controlled by voice commands. He also described how smart technology is helping people get a better night’s sleep, and voiced optimism about the growth potential for the sleep technology industry.

A Reverie sleep system connected to Google Home was set up in the studio, and FBN anchor Cheryl Casone demonstrated its effectiveness by using a voice command to move the bed to the zero gravity position while she was lying down.

Long a proponent of the power of sleep, Reverie has incorporated the benefits of sleep into many of its marketing initiatives. During the segment, Rawls-Meehan touted the benefits of adjustable power bases and addressed innovation within the bedding category as a way of the growing business around sleep.

“People watching this show – especially those who work in high-stress occupations like finance – are ideal candidates for our better sleep message. This appearance was a great opportunity to expose them to the adjustable power base category, and it enabled us to show how our sleep innovations can help them get a better night’s sleep,” said Rawls-Meehan. “There has been a lot of marketing around sleep in recent years, but too much of it has been focused on medications and supplements. This segment was worthwhile because it focused on how technology can improve your sleep.”
