Belfort Furniture Sponsors Annual YMCA Golf Tournament, Raises $95K

For the 15th year, Belfort Furniture teamed up with the YMCA Loudoun County as the corporate sponsor for the 27th Annual Golf Classic. The tournament was held June 6 at the Loudoun Golf and Country Club in Purcellville, Virginia.
Attracting 124 golfers this year, the YMCA set a new record and raised over $95,000 to support the YMCA’s “Caring for Community” initiative. The funds raised will provide a two-week summer camp scholarship for over 420 underprivileged children in Loudoun County. In addition, the funds will support families in need of quality after school programs.
Since Belfort Furniture became the corporate sponsor in 2005 they have been integral in raising over $948,000 for the YMCA Loudoun County.
“We are so grateful for the continued support of Mike and Kristi Huber and Belfort Furniture, and the support of their furniture industry associates,” said Kasia Bochenek, business director, YMCA Loudoun County. “Their generous efforts positively impact the lives of so many families in our community.
“We couldn’t do what we do without you! Your contribution will greatly help to make this summer so very memorable for many Y kids and their families,” Bochenek added.
The event kicked off with a pre-golf party hosted by Kristi and Michael Huber at their winery, Stone Tower Winery, in Leesburg, Virginia. Over 200 furniture industry partners and Loudoun businesses attended the casual evening.
