Brown Jordan’s Stretch Collection Wins ADEX Award

Luxury outdoor resource Brown Jordan won the 2019 ADEX Platinum Design Award. The Stretch Collection, designed by internationally acclaimed designer Richard Frinier, was chosen based on the collection’s innovative versatilityand craftsmanship.
Inspired by Frinier’s love of modern and neoclassical designs, Stretch perfects simple elegance by combining aluminum, Sunbrella Strap construction and a powder-coated finish.
ADEX stands for Awards for Design Excellence and is one of the largest and most prestigious awards programs for product and project design in the A&D industry. Nearly 600 companies were considered for the 2019 ADEX awards, and for over twenty years ADEX has recognized products demonstrating superior innovation, function and aesthetics.

Brown Jordan has won over 50 design excellence awards – more than any other manufacturer in the outdoor furniture industry, according to a press release. Several of Richard Frinier’s designs for Brown Jordan have remained in continuous production for over 30 years.
