Art Van Opens 19th Store in Metro Detroit

Art Van Furniture, a Midwestern furniture and mattress retailer with 190 stores in nine states, opened its newest store in Rochester Hills last week. The new, 48,000 square-foot showroom is located at 1032 S. Rochester Rd., and is Art Van Furniture’s 19th store in metro Detroit.
Event highlights included a ribbon cutting ceremony and Art Van Furniture donating $2,500 to New Day Foundation for Families, a Rochester Hills nonprofit organization committed to helping families alleviate the financial burden of cancer.
From May 30 - June 3, shoppers were able to register to win a trip for four to Disney World as well as a $3,000 room package. On Saturday June 1, and Sunday, June 2, fun activities, prizes and more were on tap including face painters, balloon twisters, music and free refreshments.
Guest were offered a chance to win $10,000 in Art Van Furniture’s Crack the Vault promotion, and $500 gift card drawings were held every two hours. Ron Boire, president and CEO of Art Van Furniture, Rochester Hills Mayor Bryan K. Barnett and members of the Rochester Hills Chamber of Commerce all participated in the official ribbon-cutting ceremony.
