Increased Tariffs will Force Walmart to Raise Prices

In the wake of the proposed list of Chinese imports to face tariffs up to 25%, Retail Dive has reported that Walmart will have to raise prices alongside tariff hikes.
"Increased tariffs will lead to increased prices we believe for our customers," said Walmart CFO Brett Biggs in an earnings call with reporters last week.
According to UBS analyst Michael Lasser, Walmart imports 26% of its products from China and home furnishings are a particularly vulnerable category.
