Mattress Industry Sales Rebound in First Quarter

Mattress industry sales totaled $4.05 billion in the first quarter, a 1.5 percent increase over the same quarter in 2018, according to preliminary estimates from Impact Consulting Services’ proprietary industry model.
Rebounding from a large dip at the end of 2018 and reflecting the bedding industry’s seasonality, sales are up 15.6 percent compared to last year’s fourth quarter.
